💕Girls… I think we’ve just found your next night away 👀💕🥂💕

This is what every other Friday looks like for Mum 💚

Mum has her chemotherapy at Grimsby Hospital on a Wednesday, but her treatment doesn’t finish when she leaves hospital. She comes home still attached to a chemotherapy bottle, which slowly delivers the rest of her treatment through her PICC line over the next two days.

By Friday, the bottle is empty and needs to be disconnected, safely disposed of, and her PICC line flushed with saline and cleaned ready for the next round.

Originally, Mum had to travel back to Grimsby Hospital every time this needed doing. The nurses have now trained me so that I can do it for her at home — which is what you can see me doing here. And yes, I look very serious 😂 I’m concentrating!

It’s one of those parts of cancer treatment that you probably never really think about until cancer becomes part of your own family.

This is one of the reasons our Macmillan Coffee Morning means so much more to us this year. 💚

This weeks wedding we had the fabulous creating fabulous illustrations for all the guests and a surprise singing waiter who actually helped all the way through service until it was time to drop a tray and start his set 🎤
