🍺 BAR STAFF WANTED – THE SWAN 🍺
We’re looking for one or two reliable people to join our bar team at The Swan.
This would suit someone friendly, confident and dependable who enjoys working with people and is looking for regular part-time work in a traditional country pub.
THE SHIFTS
We need people who are genuinely available for a mixture of:
• Weekday afternoons – typically from around 3pm
• Evening shifts
• Weekend daytime shifts
• Friday & Saturday evenings
You won't necessarily work all of these every week, but evening and weekend availability is an essential part of the job.
Please only apply if these hours realistically fit around your other work, family, college or personal commitments.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience behind a bar would be useful, but attitude and reliability matter more. We can teach someone how to pour a pint – reliability is harder to teach!
You’ll need to be:
• Friendly and comfortable talking to customers
• Reliable and punctual
• Happy working as part of a small team
• Able to remain calm when the bar gets busy
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Able to get to and from The Swan independently
Please note: We are a rural pub with no practical public transport, particularly in the evenings, so you must have reliable transport to and from work.
In return, you'll be joining a friendly, established village pub with a good team and plenty of regular customers.
