There’s a story behind this bottle and it involves a wombat. 🍷

Meet Mr Pat, a Merlot named after Patrick, a rather special resident of Ballarat Wildlife Park in Australia.
Patrick arrived at the park as an orphan in 1987 and went on to live for more than 31 years, becoming the oldest known Bare-nosed Wombat in captivity. He became a bit of a local celebrity, known for greeting visitors from his blue wheelbarrow with his gentle nature and famous buck-toothed smile.

A fitting name for an Australian red with plenty of character.

Made with Merlot grapes grown under the Australian sunshine along the Murray River, Mr Pat is bright, plush and packed with red fruit, with soft tannins and a long, moreish finish.
A good w**e. An even better story. 🍷🐾
