Seasonal PYO. Thurs–Sun 10–4. EveningsThurs 6-8 Little Fant Farm is a hidden heritage cottage farm, set within the scenic Medway Valley Fruit Orchards, on the Western side of Maidstone, Kent.

We are a small working farm, of 20 Acres and our aim is to produce as much food from the farm as we can, which we sell or cook with from Sonya's Farm Yard Barn Bakery. Saturdays & Sundays at the farm make a great day out for families, where you can walk around the farm, see our animals & Kitchen Garden and relax in our Tea Barn paddock with a nice cup of tea and farm made cakes and savoury treats. We probably have the best Sausage Rolls ever! Entrance is off Farleigh Lane, Maidstone or the surrounding Public Footpaths. We would like to politely ask you not to bring your Picnics onto the farm, thank you

Dogs are allowed on the farm, as long as they are kept on a very tight lead.

🍂 Can I keep my café busy as the seasons change?

Running a largely outdoor café certainly comes with its challenges, especially as we head towards the colder months!

But rather than simply accepting quieter days, I'm going to try a few things differently this year.

Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing the changes I'm making, the ideas I'm testing, and most importantly, what actually works!

Along the way, there'll be plenty of baking, recipes and a little honest insight into running a small business. 🧁☕

It’s definitely felt like a change in the weather today — a little reminder that those autumn evenings are well and truly on their way 🍂

For me, I still like to feel energised, busy and connected through the darker months… just with a bit more cosiness thrown in too.

So throughout autumn, the Tea Barn will be open every Thursday evening from 6pm–8pm, weather permitting, serving warm desserts, puddings and drinks — somewhere to come, sit, chat and enjoy a cosy evening on the farm.

And at the end of each month, we’ll be heading to The Old School Hall, East Farleigh for our Glow & Grow women’s workshops — relaxed evenings built around creativity, connection and doing something just for yourself.

October’s workshop is Gather & Glow, where we’ll be making beautiful autumn mason jar lanterns 🍁✨

A little bit of warmth, creativity and something to look forward to through the darker evenings.
