Everything a proper pub should be. The Chequers is a 15th Century Inn of traditional style, situated in the heart of the English hopping countryside. Heavily beamed with a collection of artefacts throughout, the Chequers offers a relaxed atmosphere in a centuries old environment, representing a true family village pub. ne of the first pubs in the South to be awarded the Cask Marque Award for serving quality real ale. Good quality, value for money food, including daily specials, homemade pies, Sunday roast and a children's menu. Speciality house dishes such as authentic Spanish paella and tapas are available for special occasions if pre-booked. Our accommodation is rated as a four diamond rating by the English Tourist Board. Kent affords a wealth of places to visit and Laddingford is located to serve as a convenient base for many tourist attractions. We have one self-contained double room with ensuite facilities. The bathroom has a shower but no bath. A put-you-up bed can be placed in the room for a child or third person but it does limit the room space slightly. The room has it's own television and tea/coffee making facilities and is tastefully decorated throughout in keeping with the 15th century surroundings. Room rates include full English breakfast or continental breakfast of meats and cheese. Double occupancy including breakfast from £75 for the room per night

Single occupancy including breakfast from £45 per night

Put-you-up bed and child's breakfast an additional £15

Generally the room will be available from 12 noon but we can usually be flexible if certain check-in or check-out times are required. Reservations for lunch or dinner can be made for during your stay, please advise us accordingly
