Pancake Tuesday! One of my favourite days in Mauds - pancakes/crepes however you like them! For anyone who missed out or if you want to give them a go - here’s the recipe- have some fun, let the kids have a go ❤️
450g soda bread flour
150g caster sugar
3 eggs
Approx 3/4-1 pint of buttermilk (keep a thick consistency)
Low to med heat - flip when brown and remember slow and steady - don’t burn them 😜
Enjoy with fruit/bacon/maple syrup or good old butter or Nutella

Great work being done with this! With everyone buying Christmas pressies etc pop a few bits and bobs in a bag for those less fortunate xx check out the hygiene bank for drop off points please.

Mauds Parlour has been notified that a member of our team who doesn’t deal with customers has tested positive for Covid -19.
As a precaution all staff working alongside have been contacted and advised to isolate for 14 days.
The safety and health of our loyal customers, staff and wider community is paramount and so we will follow guidance and close to accommodate staff isolations. This closure is temporary and will run alongside the governments restrictions to close for 2 weeks.
I want to reassure you that we will continue to apply the very highest standards of hygiene and continue to follow all government guidance in order to protect and keep everyone safe.
To everyone that wanted to call this week I can only apologise for any inconvenience.
I would also like to thank you all for your patience and understanding at this difficult time while reassure you we will be back when the governments restrictions have been lifted. Xx
