Next up on Thursday we have our extremely popular open mic night! Come down and perform or just enjoy a night of free live music 🍻🎶

As many of you will know, Robbie Cross has stepped down from hosting our Open Mic Night. Everyone at The Wharf would like to say a huge thank you to Robbie for all the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm he's brought. His efforts have helped make Open Mic such a fantastic night, and we're very grateful for everything he's done.
Looking ahead, we're excited to announce that we'll be welcoming a different guest host each month, with a fantastic group of local musicians taking the reins.
We're delighted to introduce this month's guest host, Jonathan Edwards. We look forward to seeing you all for another great night of live music!

Good news! Our beautiful little bar is serving all 7 days this week 😁

Here’s what to expect:

Monday from 4:30. Always a chilled one. Plenty of seats, come and cool down in the little beer garden or watch the athletes on the Wharf darts team go through their paces.

Tuesday from 4:30. France vs Spain for the World Cup purists.

Wednesday from 4:30. England vs Argentina on the big screen 😬

Thursday from 4:30. Normal peaceful pub service resumes.

Friday: we open at midday. Definitely one for our sunny garden.

Sat & Sunday we are open from 12:00. We won’t tempt fate by predicting what World Cup games might be shown.

The WHARF BEST BITTER is now officially on the pumps!

Crafted a massive 289 metres away by Storm Brewery . It’s an absolute belter of a pint and at £4.20 it’s actually a little kinder on your wallet than our previous choice.

This will be our definitive house bitter for the foreseeable future, mostly because we’ve already printed the pump clips.

We are OPEN from Sunday noon straight through until 5:00 AM Monday for chilled drinks through the afternoon and then the England vs Mexico game.

We have perfect cask beer, cold lager, great wines & spirits, and plenty of Spearings pies to survive the night.

The alternative: This version of Gary Lineker will visit your dreams if you fall asleep at home. Your choice.

Come and join us at The Wharf from 4:30 today. We’ve a lovely sunny beer garden and fresh, cold beer - alongside some lovely crisp wines to cool you down.

Then later in the evening, we’ll have the England game shown live on the big screen.

It’s probably the most chilled out and relaxed showing in Macclesfield. During the last game, everyone found a seat and the noise level doesn’t get much higher than the odd grumble about “England fannying around at the back”.

If you are lucky, there may be a polite round of applause at the end.
