☕✈️ The Story Behind Our Coffee Beans ✈️☕

Have you ever wondered where our coffee comes from?

Our beans are supplied by Ground Effect Coffee, a fantastic independent roastery based in nearby Buxton. Founded by former offshore helicopter pilot Chris Berry, Ground Effect brings together two passions: exceptional coffee and aviation.

Not only do we love the rich, smooth coffee they produce, but their aviation roots make them a perfect fit for us too. Our Heritage Course celebrates the area's aviation history, with holes named after aircraft that once flew from the nearby Avro airfield.

A local coffee supplier with a passion for aviation and great coffee... we couldn't think of a better match! ❤️

Next time you're enjoying a coffee at the White Owl Café, you're tasting a little bit of local history and craftsmanship in every cup.
