Tony and Karen Mclaughlin have run the Beach Terrace Café for ten years. Tony says “We have three full time chefs offering wonderful home cooked style food to suit all tastes. The chefs along with many of our other staff have been with us for many years creating what we believe is a great family type atmosphere” Takeaway food is also widely available. The Café has a restaurant licence so you

can enjoy a wide variety of alcoholic drinks with your meal. There is also a huge range of chilled soft drinks

Along with our meals we offer an extensive range of hot drinks. We are very child friendly, with the beach being directly in front of us. We can provide along with lots of ice creams including “Mr Whippy” a timeless favourite. Why not try our “Shmoo” milkshakes with whippy cream and toppings, a perfect treat. We specialise in coach trips. Coaches can park for free on the car park and we can cater for parties from small to up to sixty. Please contact us for details. The café has disabled facilities.

Here’s another tax for us small businesses that has gone under the radar
My electric company (no fault of theirs) has been told that it has to charge me another tax to pay for”investment in new sources of energy” basically a charge for a wig and a prayer idea that may never take off( they use nuclear power as an example)
That charge to me is £650 per annum
Multiply that across the country for us lucky business owners
