The annual Scarecrow trail is back next weekend!
You can buy the maps from ourselves and Tesco £3 each cash only.
We will be open Saturday 11:30-20:30 and Sunday 12:00-18:00 and we will also be offering kids eat FREE in the restaurant all weekend, one FREE kids meal with an adult purchasing a main meal.

Huge news from Scarecrow HQ…our Barry has found love ❤️

After many single years we’re over the moon that he’s finally met someone special.

There’s just one issue! We don’t know her name, but you can help us find out.

When completing the trail this year there will be 5 ❤️ symbols on your map. Visit them all to find out what to call this very lucky lady!

Maps will be available from Tesco and the chip shop on Lyndhurst High St from this weekend ready for the 10th & 11th October. Please remember cash as our vendors are not able to accept card payments.

🥾 Lyndhurst is the starting point for many great walking routes heading out onto the open forest.

🧭 Head over towards White Moor from Bolton’s Bench, see the conservation work at Pondhead Inclosure or learn about the history of the capital of the New Forest.

ITS BACK!!!!
The annual Scarecrow Trail is back on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October.
With over 70 Scarecrows to find using the map it’s a fun day out for all the family.
Maps will be available to buy for £3 from ourselves and Tescos opposite (cash only).
These will be on sale the week before.
All proceeds go to St Michael & All Angels Infant School and Bartley C of E Junior School.
We will be open all day Saturday and 12-6 on the Sunday so why not grab some chips whilst walking around spotting the Scarecrows.
The question is who can spot them all?!!

We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who commented, liked, loved and most importantly shared our posts to help the message get through to the fire fighters.

There are still fires popping up all over the New Forest so we will continue this offer until Sunday.

Also thank you to our potatoe supplier South Coast Potatoes based in Fareham for kindly donating 5 x 25kg sacks of potatoes to help feed the fire fighters ❤️

Lastly it would be great to get the message out there that disposable bbq’s and fires are not permitted in the New Forest. These have been responsible for numerous fires recently and with the fire fighters stretched already this can be easily avoided.

We have decided to continue our Free Meal offer to all the hardworking fire fighters all day tomorrow. The fire has been contained but the crews are still out there saving our forest.
So far we have served over 50 fire fighters and will continue to do so tomorrow.
If you have already come in and had your meal you are more than welcome to come in again. We thank you and appreciate all that you have done.
Also thank you to Nancy for contributing for the fire fighters.

What a fantastic job the Fire Fighters are doing in tackling the fire that has destroyed
Soo much of our beautiful forest!
We appreciate your hard work and you are probably working long hours without a break to try and control this spreading.
In return we would like to offer any Fire Fighter tackling the blaze a free meal!
