Steeped in history, and with strong nautical links (keep an eye out for some famous sailors!)...we are also the official ‘club house’ for the Lymington Mariners. ‘The Chequers’ is the ideal base for a circular walk along the sea wall, with a

warm stove awaiting in winter, and a walled garden in summer. The blackboard a la carte menu changes with the seasons with a range of interesting bar snacks, barbeques, and often live music on the front patio at weekends during the summer. Real ales are a speciality along with a well chosen wine list
