Why do we at Bohemia use Bamboo?🎍

When we first brainstormed about how our coffee shop would look, we knew we needed bamboo and plants. They were non-negotiable…. We also wanted to thrift as much as we could!💰

Why?

Not only is bamboo in tune with our Bohemian Vibe, it coincides with our vision to limit our impact and harm on the environment🌎

Our tables were partially made from old bamboo scaffolding!

Bamboo is one of the most eco friendly and sustainable materials around due to its short growth cycle (bamboo can be harvested in 3-5 years whereas wood is around 10-30 years) and being grown without pesticides and fertilizers.

It is also great in locations with fluctuating humidity as it doesn’t expand and contract like most woods. This is especially helpful around all of our plants 🪴

Bamboo is strong, durable and stain resistant… this is great for all the amazing kids coming in for delicious hot chocolate 😍

We know our customers love the environment we have created in our shop, we are glad you love it as much as we do! ❤️
