Thank you Georgina & John for all your support, it’s a real privilege to be handed the Millside baton, you’ve created something magical and we will take good care of her.
We’ve got big shoes to fill but we hope that we’ll make you proud.

We’re so excited for our new adventure and the next chapter of Millside, we’ve got an incredible team by our side, headed up by the legend of Lyme that is & our super talented head chef

Today Millside welcomed its new owners on their first days trading, Emily and Tony moved in yesterday and hit the ground running. Even though they are surrounded by boxes they have opened the doors this evening to welcome customers and get started on their new adventure. So while it’s a little busy for them today Georgina, John, Darcy & Wren took the opportunity to say goodbye to you all via this last post as we now officially hand over to Emily & Tony with their son James.

We can’t wait to watch the beautiful success they will make of Eat at Millside. For now, thank you all so, so much from the bottom of our hearts for your support over the last 5 years, you can follow our next chapter via where we will focus on family & our catering company.

Good luck Emily & Tony on your new adventure, what a pleasure it has been getting to know you both over the last year. You’re one of a kind, amazing couple and we wish you all the best for your new future at Millside.

It’s a sad but happy post - possibly one of our last. We now have a date for our farewell and it’s coming around quick. Our last day will be Friday 28th March, 2 weeks today. We have 10 days open until we finish up. We are open next week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (closed Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday) and the following week we are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (closed Thursday, Saturday & Sunday).

We’ve had the best 5 years here. There’s so many amazing people that have made this journey so, so worth being on. Thank you for all being here for us, for supporting us, to locals who have become amazing friends, for those coming back on your holidays year on year, people who have travelled near and far to dine with us. If you are around in the next two weeks please come in and say goodbye.

To our team, we don’t even know where to start. Gosh, it’s packed full of happy emotions of being surrounded by THE BEST. They are all staying here with the new owners, what a testament to how lovely the new owners are but also to the strength in what is here. We cannot possibly thank you all enough for all you are to us.

Millside is in SUCH good hands and we hope that you all continue to support the new owners as they get started here. Maybe we will be on the table next to you next time!

For now, how lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. Thank you all from the truest place in our hearts. Millside will forever be one of our favourite chapters.
