Games and Education

D&D encourages mathematics, logic, imagination and has a social aspect - in our case our bard brings his ukulele so we cover musical ability too

TCG encourage mathematics, strategy and socialisation

Warhammer encourages creativity, mathematics and socialisation and also meet the criteria for the crafting badge in scouting

Crafting encourages imagination, creativity and hand/eye co-ordination

Gaming can be a fantastic way for children to learn without realising they are learning

We've seen some really quick maths from our youngest player this evening

A great alternative if you're looking to reduce screen time

Has anyone got a monopoly game they would be willing to donate?

We have had a request from someone who loves monopoly but has no-one to play with

We don't currently have monopoly in the games room if anyone is getting rid please consider us

Open today with our regular D&D session - and space if you want to do other activities

Reminder new opening hours of 4:30pm-8:30pm

We have ice cream and cold drinks on sale - whether you're playing or just passing by the shop

There will also be a jug of cold water in the fridge- help yourselves!

We have some pre-bookings in but still space for a few more tonight
