The Den has created something the Forest of Dean needed: a genuine safe space in Lydney for everyone, regardless of who they are. With a dedicated sensory room, LGBTQ+ meeting nights and Neurodivergency meeting nights, it's been carefully designed for people who might otherwise struggle to find somewhere to belong.

The Den also offers meaningful volunteering opportunities within the venue itself — fast becoming an essential part of Lydney's social fabric.

The reason we were closed tonight

We were nominated for a business in the community award and the ceremony was this evening - we didn't win but we did receive this highly commended award - which considering we are only 5 months old is HUGE!

We are extremely proud of this, here are a handful of photos we took - the food is all locally sourced and deserved it's own photo.

A reminder we are open tomorrow 4:30-8:30 for Warhammer Wednesday and then closed until next Tuesday, we worked the entire summer holiday and our kids spent their entire holiday in the store - so this weekend they get a break
