Situated in the quaint village of Alvington on the main A48, near the Forest of Dean. Within a short drive of Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham, and not too far from Cardiff, we are well situated on the edge of the Forest of Dean, close to the River Severn and River Wye valley. Alvington is not only on the edge of the Forest, and half a mile from the banks of the River Severn but just down the r

oad from historic town of Chepstow, with its racecourse, golf resort, exciting nightlife and famous castle at the foot of the Wye Valley. We have an extensive menu and Food is served daily 12-2.30pm and 7-9.30pm, served with good selection of beers wines and real ales. Dogs are allowed in the public house provided they are kept under control on a lead.
