So the girls were busy and totally forgot to take pictures! But here’s a blurry photo of my eldest son (who always says he’s too lazy when I ask him to do a shift 🙄😂)

Him and his friend joey was back and forth handing out milkshakes, cakes and brownies to their class who came in today!

I had a very big smile on my face watching the cctv at my big baby rushing around making sure everyone had theirs before he sat down for his own 😍❤️

On 27th December, we had our busiest day ever, and Jenny Parsons and Tanisha Mattock were the staff members at the top of the leaderboard! 🎉

Well, today, Tanisha and I have made it onto the leaderboard and taken first place! 🏆

I just want to say a massive thank you to Pirate Friday for letting us be part of Pirate Friday Week, and to two of the classes from lydd primary school for choosing us for their end-of-year treat.

And of course, thank you to every single person who walks through our door. ❤️

I wanted to write this because we’re not a big business. This all started with a mum and a dream, trying to show her children that anything is possible if you’re willing to work hard for it. Every bit of support, every visit, and every purchase helps me show them exactly that.

So, from a working mum who’s trying her very best, and my hard working team at JJ’s cafe! thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

Day 2 of our busy week! ( had to re post as I forgot the triple chocolate banana bread 👀😍)

Busy cafe yet I still managed to make the brownies for tomorrow’s kids boxes, an old school cake because who doesn’t love abit of old school cake!! AND of course Iv made some brownies for the adults (will finish decorating first thing tomorrow)😍❤️❤️

We have been extremely busy this weekend! Preparing for this week!

Today is the first day of our busy week 30 cupcake, 30 milkshakes for 30 children! and it went sooo well!! So it has set us up for a great start! ❤️❤️

🏴‍☠️ I grew up watching my older brothers head to Pirate Friday, counting down the years until I could join in. Nearly 27 years Iv lived in Lydd, and it’s still one of my favourite traditions.

This year, I don’t just get to just go—I get to be a part of it in my café, which makes it even more special. ❤️⚓

Here’s to 20 years of Pirate Friday and another year of this amazing town coming together. 🏴‍☠️
