Alasdair- I specialise in finely detailed oil paintings. I have successfully exhibited at The Hill Gallery, Hampstead, the Camden Gallery, London and at the Jacob Javitz Gallery in New York.
I have had my work published as posters and prints and was chuffed to spot one of them in the film, 'In Clear and Present Danger`, starring Harrison Ford. I've had numerous commissions from individuals, societies and museums.
I have exhibited regularly with the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Gallery and the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.

PUBLIC NOTICE..... We are sad to say, that after MUCH deliberation, for a number of reasons, we have decided to not re-open Cafe Vanille:(. We do want to say the BIGGEST thank-you's possible for ALL the incredible support. Lydbrook and surrounding areas... you are the Best!

We have had the absolute best staff, have made so many wonderful new friends and I have had the chance to make a lifelong dream come true.

Our regular customers and not so regular customers, we will miss you! It has been such a pleasure to meet you all and to be a part of so many celebrations. Thank you for choosing us to help you with your special days ❤️

Best wishes to you all, and we very much look forward to seeing you out and about.

Such a beautiful bright crispy day! A perfect day for a walk. And lunch! :) Come sit by the fire and enjoy a Cheesy (cheddar & Leicestershire) Macaroni topped with bacon, served with mixed salad & coleslaw, Grass fed Beef Burger topped with cheese, onions, tomatoe, lettuce and gherkin on a Brioche bun, served with Crisps and side salad / Ginger, Sweet Potatoe, Coconut, Lentil soup with kale, All day Breakfast Baps (Vegan available too) and more.. Desserts....carrot cake with Cream Cheese Icing, Coffee Walnut Cake, Chocolate cake with buttercream icing, and biscoff cake (vegan). We look forward to seeing you!:)
