We love streetfood nights! July we’re taking a break on the pop up front but fear not - first Friday of August we’ll be back and cannot wait to welcome to the Yard for the first time bringing these mouthwateringly stacked burgers & loaded fries. Opening Hours Update: Just a reminder that for the rest of the Spring & Summer 2026 we are reverting to opening 3 days a week, Thursday Friday & Saturday. We tried our very best to make Sundays happen but other life events must take priority for a little while! We hope you can visit us whilst we’re open! 🩷

Happy Birthday to Yaiza - yoga prodigy, world wanderer, certified icon, and one of The Yard’s favourite humans 🌿✨

Fun fact: Yaiza literally moved to India to train in yoga… and was so good they asked her to teach at the school before she’d even graduated. Casual.

Somehow, in between working at The Yard and leading trips around the world for WeRoad, she still finds the energy to teach yoga at the every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm (for just £5!)

Basically: she’s cooler than all of us, wildly talented, and an all-round phenomenal human being.

MAJOR UPDATE: due to the hugely exciting news that I’m expecting a baby in a month’s time (!!), I’ll be taking some time off this summer…

I’ve been working my socks off behind the scenes to rally the troops and make millions of sausage rolls for while I’m gone, but with my due date fast approaching, a few changes sadly must be made (apparently babies don’t consult the Yard calendar before making arrival plans!)

MUSIC AFTERNOONS / BIKE NIGHTS
No more bike nights or music afternoons this summer — soz! So don’t miss The Bearcats tomorrow for one last Yard boogie!

OPENING HOURS
Despite our best efforts to make it happen, Sundays just aren’t feasible this year, so after this week, our opening hours will revert to 3 days per week: Thursday – Saturday, 9:30 – 3:30.

STREET FOOD EVENINGS
If you’re going to miss the buzz of Yard events, be sure to keep our street food pop-up evenings in your diary! Dates as follows:

5th June — Santina’s Pizza, 5–8pm
7th August — Moo Hatch Burgers, 5–8pm

I wish we could bring you fabulous people more, but fear not! We have a phenomenal team in place to keep alllllllll the plates spinning, and nothing beats Cotesbach summer vibes. Can’t wait to see you all, and wish us luck!! ❤️👶🤞🏼

SO excited to welcome the Bearcats back this Saturday, 16th May. An absolute top Yard fave, we have them for 2 full hours of non stop foot tappin’ blues! Mark absolutely bosses it on the harmonica, backed up by the very best boogie-ing bearcats… come on down! They’ll be playing 2 sets, 1.30-2.30, and 3-4.

Draught beer, cakes, coffees and all the delicious usual lunch options. And it’s the cafe’s 8th Birthday so come celebrate with us!
