Firstly, a HUGE congratulations to our sister pub, The Red Lion, Cranford — officially crowned Best Country Pub in the UK 2026! 🏆🦁❤️

We couldn’t be prouder of Ash and the whole Red Lion team. What an achievement.

BUT… you didn’t think the Fox was going to sit quietly in the corner, did you? 👀🦊

Anything you can do… we can do better! 😂

While you’re busy polishing that shiny trophy, The Snooty Fox has been shortlisted for BOOKER GASTRO PUB OF THE YEAR at the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards 2026/27. 🏆

And just to make things interesting… you haven’t! 😂😂

Joking aside, we’re incredibly proud of what the Snooty Fox team has achieved. We’ve worked hard over many years to build a pub based around quality, consistency, brilliant produce and great people — and this is the second time we’ve been nominated for this award.

And what happened last time?

WE WON IT. 🏆😉

We’re also incredibly proud of our long-standing relationship with Booker and the support they give independent hospitality businesses like ours. Their catering butchery operation has been an important part of what we do, alongside our fantastic relationship with Aubrey Allen, supplying us with exceptional dry-aged British beef.

The Snooty Fox will be closed all day TODAY, Saturday 22nd August, for a very special private function. 🦊❤️

We very rarely close our doors for private events, but today is a little different — and a very special one for us.

We’re incredibly honoured to be hosting the wedding of two wonderful people from our very own village of Lowick. 💍❤️

And really… where better to celebrate such an important day than their local pub, surrounded by family, friends and the community they call home?

Today The Snooty Fox swaps seafood, steaks and Saturday service for wedding bells, Ch*****ne and a very special celebration. 🥂🍾
