📚✨ Hi Book People! ✨📚

Just a quick post to confirm our current opening hours:

📖 Monday: 10.00am – 12.30pm
📖 Tuesday: 10.00am – 3.00pm
📖 Wednesday: 10.00am – 3.00pm
📖 Thursday: 12.30pm – 3.00pm

We've had lots of lovely new stock arrive, including some fantastic children's and teen reads, and also some great summer reads for adults, so why not pop in and see what treasures you can find? 📚💙

We're also running our Summer Window Hunt Challenge throughout the holidays, so do bring your young people along to take part. It's a fun way to explore the shop and we have a free activity book for any young person who pops in ! 🔍📖

Sign up for our Summer Reading Challenge in conjunction with The Reading Agency.

1. Pop in the shop and pick up a free booklet
2. Leave your name with our booksellers and an adult's contact number
3. Read a book, or 2 or more!
4. Come back to the shop and collect a sticker for each book you've read
5. Scan the codes for extra online challenges or follow the prompts in the booklet
6. Collect 6 stickers over the summer and get a certificate plus entry into our Prize Draw in September

Note - the books you read can be bought from us or can be library books or ones you already own. Just tell the bookseller the title and what you liked about it.

This is a different challenge to the one the local libraries are doing so you can get a sticker from them and a sticker from us for each challenge! Double the fun.

Sorry for the late message, just to let everyone know that today’s Board Game Cafe is cancelled, as poor Jo is unwell. So can we wish her a speedy recovery and will see you all for it next week.

The shop is open as per usual.

I’ve just finished this book: The Hive by Ronald Malfi and I honestly don’t know how I feel about it, it has some weird undertone to it but I can’t seem to pinpoint as to what it could be.
It says it was a horror and to me it didn’t seem as much as a horror at all.

Good Morning
All you book and game lovers. We have now moved the Board Game sessions to a Thursday 4pm till 7pm as we had found the time was accessible to all. So come along at our new time and enjoy some loved games and find out about some new ones.
