Today is the 15th day of the 8th month on the Lunar calendar, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival.
This is the second most important Festival in the Chinese calendar, it is a day when friends and family get together, enjoy a fest and in the evening, watch the full moon forming with decorated lanterns.
It is a tradition of thousands of years, originally when people worshipped the moon god, which was supposed to have protected their harvest.
Anyways, enjoy your evening and don't eat too much mooncakes.

Hello everyone, just in case someone has tried to call the restaurant by phone, the phone line is not working after I have switched over to full fibre, apparently I needed an adapter to be able to use the home phone.
Also, I am shutting the restaurant from 15th Nov and will reopen next spring 1st March '24.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Thanks to a lovely man called Elliot and his son to my rescue, they have pull their fingers out and fix the leak plus repaired the ceiling, I might have to DIY some holes here and there, but I should be able to reopen tomorrow evening.
I'm grateful for all the lovely messages, so if you are ever unfortune to have similar disastrous day, don't forget to call Elliot ( 07837426888 )
