☀️ Bookings are now open for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme!

Families eligible for benefits-related free school meals, vulnerable children, or those with additional needs can now book places on a fantastic range of free activities for eligible children and young people aged 5–16.

🎨 With more than 50 programmes and almost 10,000 activity places available, there’s something for everyone – from football, theatre and arts & crafts to exciting water sports.

Running from 20 July to 1 September, the programme provides fun, enriching experiences that help children develop new skills, build confidence, stay active and make new friends. Every activity also includes a free meal and promotes healthy food choices through nutritional education.

Heading to First Light with children this weekend?

The Community Help Hub and volunteers have got free wristbands. Not only are they a great souvenir, but they're invaluable if a small person gets lost. Last year the team reunited several families and the wristbands meant we could do it quickly and efficiently.

There are other giveaways including reusable water bottles (that you can fill up for free at the water points) and lots of information about ESC Community programmes.

Come and see the team First Light Lowestoft and talk about HAF!!
