🌊 A space to pause, connect, and listen. 🌊
For the next month, we’re delighted to be hosting the .scot Coastal Testimonies exhibition here in the café.
The photographs and stories on display come from people living and working around Scotland’s coast—people whose lives, families, traditions, and futures are closely tied to the sea. Through their experiences, the exhibition encourages us to think about the choices being made for our marine environment and what they mean for coastal communities.
As a community café, we’re always looking for ways to bring people together, spark conversation, and share stories that matter. We felt this exhibition was a wonderful opportunity to do just that. It reminds us that caring for our seas isn’t only about the environment—it’s about supporting communities, livelihoods, local knowledge, and future generations.
Next time you’re in for a coffee or a bite to eat, take a wander around the display, spend some time with the photographs, and read the voices behind them. We hope it inspires reflection, discussion, and a deeper appreciation for the people and places that make our coastline so special.
