We posted this because we genuinely felt disappointed by what happened. Our team made a real effort to give this table the best possible experience. We personally checked on them, listened to their concerns, explained the situation and tried to put things right. At the time, we felt we had done everything we could to make their experience better, so waking up to a review that we believe does not fairly reflect the overall experience or the efforts made by our team was disheartening. We are not saying anyone has to give us five stars, but we are real people too, and we believe our staff deserve recognition for genuinely trying their best.

After careful thought, we’ve decided to close Kyoto Restaurant because it’s been too quiet.

Too quiet to hear ourselves think over the sizzling in the kitchen, the takeaway orders, and all you lovely people coming through the door! 😂
