Ye Olde Whyte Swanne Louth Town CAMRA pub of the year 2024!! The oldest pub in Louth serving traditional home cooked food!

Our comfortable bar is the ideal place to enjoy a selection of cask ales, craft beers, lagers and continental bottle beer for something a little bit different. We sell a wide range of wines, prosecco and champaign available by the bottle or glass so for that special occasion give us a call. We also have a relaxing lounge to the rear of the pub where you can enjoy a drink, a bite to eat or just relax with friends. All our meals are homemade and locally sourced where possible. We have a wide range of dishes from traditional pub food, Sunday roasts and a Specials Board. You can also enjoy al-fresco drinking and dining in our large South facing beer garden, a perfect sun trap. The Ye Olde Whyte Swanne is known for being the oldest pub in Louth, established in 1612 and there are rumours that the pub may well be haunted!

As we head into the winter months, we’re making a few changes to our opening hours.

We’ll still be here throughout the week for a warm welcome, just with slightly different hours.

BAR

Monday | 11am – 6pm
Tuesday | 11am – Late
Wednesday | 10am – Late
Thursday | 11am – Late
Friday | 10am – Late
Saturday | 10am – Late
Sunday | 12pm – 6pm

KITCHEN

Monday | 12pm – 5pm
Tuesday | 12pm – 5pm
Wednesday | 10am – 8pm
Thursday | 11am – 8pm
Friday | 10am – 8pm
Saturday | 10am – 8pm
Sunday | 12pm – 4pm

Please remember that our kitchen hours are different to our bar hours, so if you’re joining us for food, check the kitchen times before heading over.

You’ve had the teasers… now we can finally show you our new evening menu! 👀🍽️

We’ve got a mix of proper pub favourites, comforting dishes and a few lighter options too!

Our evening menu launches this Friday, 18th September, and will be served:

Wednesday – Saturday
5pm – 8pm

We’ve been looking forward to sharing this one with you, Table bookings are recommended (but not essential), so drop us a message or give us a call to book.

We’ve had a few people ask what we’re serving for lunch, so we thought we’d finally pop our menu on here!

We’ve actually been serving it for the last week now, and it’s been lovely seeing people enjoying it!

From proper pub favourites to something a little lighter, there’s plenty to choose from.

Have a look through the menu and let us know what you’d be ordering in the comments.

We’re serving lunch all this week, and then from Monday 21st September, we’ll be serving lunch Monday–Saturday, 12–5pm.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Ye Olde Whyte Swan Pub has been awarded a 5 star Health & Hygiene Rating! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to our fantastic team for all their hard work, care and attention to detail in keeping our pub clean, safe and welcoming for all our customers. ❤️

It’s something we’re really proud of, and we couldn’t have done it without the dedication of our amazing staff.
