After a lot of thought, I have made the very difficult decision that 31 October 2026 will be the last day of regular food service from the Gusti Pugliesi kitchen at Dew Drop.

It feels quite special — and emotional — that this will also be exactly two years since I opened Gusti Pugliesi at Dew Drop.

Two years of cooking, learning, trying, changing, having wonderful days, difficult days and, most importantly, meeting so many amazing people. ❤️

This hasn't been an easy decision. Sometimes life changes, priorities change, and you have to take a different path.

The Dew Drop chapter is coming to an end, but Gusti Pugliesi is not. 🇮🇹

For a while, I'll be taking things a little more slowly, focusing mainly on private parties and catering, while waiting for the right time — and hopefully one day the right place — to give Gusti Pugliesi a home of its own.

Returning to my professional career has also naturally changed the time I can dedicate to the business, so I feel this is the right moment to find a better balance and let Gusti Pugliesi continue in a different way.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported me and Matt, especially our wonderful regular customers who came back, brought friends, recommended us and made these two years so special. ❤️

And a special thank you to Ben, for giving me the opportunity to start this journey at Dew Drop when we barely knew each other. I will always be grateful for that.

And don't worry — I'm not disappearing! 😂 You'll still find me at Dew Drop, probably in my little corner with a drink, trying to go unnoticed because I'm tiny!

We'll also continue with some special events and private parties, with Gusti Pugliesi returning to the kitchen as an external food supplier.

My catering will continue, and the website and social pages will stay open — so if you fancy my Italian food for your next event, you know where to find me. ❤️

31 October isn't the end of Gusti Pugliesi.

It's simply the end of one very special chapter.

So come and have one more dinner with me, bring your friends, have a drink, eat some Italian food — and let's make these last weeks at Dew Drop something to remember. ❤️

Our Wednesday menu is a little smaller, but still brings together some of the traditional Italian dishes we love!

From panzerotto, a traditional deep-fried turnover filled with tomato and mozzarella, to classic pizzas, antipasti and fresh salads.

Some food is made to be enjoyed with your eyes. Some food is made to be shared. And some food is so good, you can almost taste it through the screen!!🇮🇹🍅

At Gusti, we’re all about the simple things that make Italian food so special. Fresh ingredients, traditional flavours and dishes made to be enjoyed slowly, surrounded by good company.

From creamy mozzarella and ripe tomatoes to fresh basil and that finishing touch of balsamic, sometimes you really don’t need to overcomplicate good food.

Just good ingredients, prepared with care, and a table full of people ready to enjoy it❤️

In Italy, food has always been about more than what’s on your plate🇮🇹

For generations, the table has been at the heart of Italian family life. From Sunday lunches that bring everyone together, to recipes passed down from grandparents, food has always been a reason to slow down, sit together and spend time with the people around you.

And that’s where the tradition of sharing comes in. Plates are put in the middle of the table, everyone helps themselves, conversations carry on long after the food arrives and there’s always room for one more person to pull up a chair.

It’s not about rushing through a meal, it’s about the people you’re sharing it with.

We’re officially back in full swing at Gusti 🇮🇹🤍

We’ve got lots of things in the works behind the scenes at the moment, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.

Our catering side is also back open and ready to cater for your next event, whether it’s a big celebration or something a little more intimate.

For the foreseeable future, we’ll be taking Sundays off from our opening days, but you can still find us throughout the rest of the week.

We’re looking forward to having you through the doors this weekend 🍕🇮🇹
