Have I ever lied to you about cake .... ( the brown sugar and sea salted caramel cheesecake to name just one)

This is absolutely delicious- lemon merangue flapjack - It looked a lot more together before I ate half of it !!

Its lovely, take away available as well, perfect with out Coffee and Cake deal - pub is nice and cool and the Garden is like being in the Maldives- something for everyone..

Now back to my cake!!!

What a pleasure it was to host the Year 6 leavers party yesterday! ❤️

The children looked absolutely incredible, the outfits were amazing, everyone was so excited, and they were an absolute credit to themselves. They were so polite, so well behaved, and it was lovely to see them celebrating such a special milestone together.

A huge well done to all the parents too. You worked so hard to make the room look fantastic, hoovered the red carpet, and made sure the children were fed and watered... cocktails included, of course! 🍹

Watching the children receive their awards, hearing the cheers, and seeing a few proud tears from parents reminded us what a special community we have. It was an absolute privilege for us to play a tiny part in such a memorable evening.

And finally... don't tell Miss Scott, but I'm fairly sure I spotted her having a go on the bouncy castle! 🤫😂

Good luck to all the Year 6 leavers as you start your next adventure. We know you will all do brilliantly! 🌟

Thursday Nights - The National Quiz! £2 entry, played on your phone, competing against pubs all over the country for the chance to win some HUGE prizes.

Alternate Friday Nights - Time to get your funk on! RumBa are here to stay, bringing the party every other Friday.

Saturday 25th July - Our very first Craft & Food Market! We're so excited to launch what we hope will become a fantastic monthly event. Expect brilliant local makers, delicious food, live music on a purpose-built stage and a wonderful community atmosphere. We still have a few stalls available if you'd like to join us!

Sunday Nights - You asked... so here it is... 🥁

Our Sunday Night Quiz starts at 6pm! Complete with roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings at half-time because why not? The prizes are modest - . but the bragging rights are priceless! 😂

If you fancy something a bit different, our pétanque pitch is almost ready to play on (boules are behind the bar), Swingball will be up as soon as I find the instructions 🙈, and we've also got Pitch & Toss and Beer Pong... or Soft Drink Pong if you're behaving! Just ask
