It is with deep regret that we have to announce the closing of Ajs to the public after this coming weekend.

We will be closing the doors to our beloved coffee shop this Sunday 25th February and sadly we won’t be opening again for public use. 😳🥹

All private parties that have pre booked will still be going ahead as planned but there will be no public or open play after the 25th February.

We’d like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the patrons we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming over the past 8 years. At times it’s been a huge challenge, but seeing all those happy little faces made it all very much worth while and we are sad it’s come to this for them more than anything else.

We genuinely hope it’s not the end forever as it has gutted us to have to do this, sadly finding a solution at this time is not to be.

We are very grateful for all the kind words and we’d thank you again for your support 🥹🙏

As many of you are aware we will sadly be closing AJs for good on the 18th March 2024 after receiving the news that the building is to be demolished. We are upset to have to do this but there is no way we could move both parts of the new charity in time to a suitable venue.

A few people have asked us what is happening with the equipment and whether or not it is up for sale. We’ve been advised that perhaps the best solution would be to try and sell the business as a whole rather than split it up and we’d love to see it carry on in some new form if possible.

We are inviting offers over £5000 to buy the business including all of the below.

- Bouncy castle and fan - suitable for 5’s and under
- Softplay cube set - less than 12 months old
- Flooring / Matting
- Soft play shapes - many varieties and sizes
- Soft play wall padding with interactive panels
- Selection of toys and role-play items including clothes and a kitchen

Coffee area
- Barista-level coffee machine and grinder
- Cups/glasses and crockery to serve coffee and tea
- Milkshake blender
- Display fridge (needs new compressor as used as just for display)

Kitchen area
- Double oven
- Fridge freezer
- Chest freezer
- Racking
- Dishwasher
- Jacket potato oven
- Microwave
- Plates and general utensils
- Sinks x 2

Includes our current social media accounts with over 3500 followers and all rights to the brand.

Offers over £5000

All interested parties need to get in touch and place their bids BEFORE the end of February 2024. All equipment will then be available from the 18th of March 2024 - please either DM or email us at [email protected]
