What a surprising and delightful day at The Green Place for the 2026 Green Garden Party.
Somehow nature aligned with our ethos and gave us a largely warm and sunny day with barely a spot of rain.
Our new Teenage Takeover Stage was a great success with a packed line up of young musicians playing music to complement the Garden Stage.
Big thanks to Billy Cane and Lucy Monk for expertly organising it and all the young musicians who played on the stage for it's debut.
The picturesque Garden Stage was as ever, an enjoyable mix of styles to delight all tastes. Thanks to Celia for curating the programme and all the fabulous musicians, plus Phil on sound, who supported the event.
With ticket sales around 125, it means we will be planting another 125 trees at Cossington Meadows nature reserve. Thank you for buying a ticket.
We put a massive amount of energy into making this and all our events the best they can be. This is only made possible with our wonderful team of volunteers. So massive thanks to;
Phil, Pete, Rosemary, Matt, Lynsey, Emma, Peter, Emily, Ellie, Cat, Andy, Michael, Eddie (who made the new stage), Gaynor, Rhys, Joel, Nick, Dave and no doubt a few I've forgotten!
What a lovely bunch they are.
