Last week our lovely red room was turned into a surprise party venue for one of our lovely customers who’s retiring.

Our private room is perfect for all sorts of occasions, including:

🎉 Birthday celebrations
🥂 Anniversaries & special occasions
🕊️ Funeral wakes
👥 Community groups & clubs
💼 Small meetings
🎈 Family get-togethers
🍻 Just getting a group of friends together

The room can accommodate around 25–30 people, with a mixture of seating and standing space, making it a lovely, relaxed setting for your gathering.

And if you’re looking for food, we can help with that too! Working with local suppliers we can provide buffets and food options, including delicious charcuterie boards, so you can enjoy your event without having to worry about catering. Or if you’d prefer to provide your own catering - that is also an option!

And the best bit? There’s no room hire charge. 🙌

Whether you’re planning something to celebrate, remember, meet or simply bring people together, we’d love to help make it a great occasion.

Thursday Night Bingo is Nearly Full!

We won’t be screening the England game tonight, but our doors will be open from 4pm as usual and the b**r will be flowing.

If you’re heading out to watch the match elsewhere, why not make us your first stop? Come in for a relaxed pint, enjoy the company, and kick off your evening with us before making your way to the football.

We’ll be raising a glass and wishing England the very best. Have a great evening, whatever your plans, and if you’re nearby before kick-off, we’d love to see you.

What a weekend!

The Tap on Tour 🚌🚌

A huge thanks to all the brilliant venues that hosted us across the day!

We started at The Fox Cub followed by The Bell at Frisby The Air Hostess at Tollerton Victoriabeeston before finishing off at The Dew Drop, Hathern and then of course back to the Tap for a pint

We experienced brilliant ales, met new people and had a good day all round thanks to our lovely coach driver Mick!
