I have a wedding to bake for, which I’m very excited about, and it’s my son’s birthday this weekend too.

So I’m taking Friday off to spend it with him, after a busy week of baking.

Hiya favourites!

Back with you today, and Terry’s Chocolate Orange cookies are back on the shelves. 👌🙌🙌🙌

In truth, I’d forgotten about the Terry’s until a customer mentioned them last weekend and it’s the perfect season to reintroduce them.

I don’t often mention the weather as it is what it is, but this weekend looks windy.

Could be a warm wind; right fine to walk in, or it could be like an expedition, doon at the estuary, so taking the car is the solution!!

Either way, canna wait to catch up.

The story of the octopus, the swan(?), and the ducks.

I have been adorned with small animals, over the years.

It began with Dot Dot Liddle bringing a few and leaving them, clandestinely, on the cart’s bench.

After working oot who had left these wee gems, I kept them in the cart and the flock grew! Children popped by with ducks, the octopus and even a wee piggy. They’re part of the cart’s crew now. ☺️

It’s autumn. 🍂

So I’ve cracked open some seasonal bakes.

My lovely customer Dawn popped by the cart last weekend with a bag brim-full of apples from one of the trees at the estuary. She left me with some to bake with this week, and the apples are lovely! Absolutely beautiful and perfect to bake with as they hold their shape.

I made Toffee Apple cookies 😀😍🏅

Other seasonal bakes this weekend:

The Pecan & Coffee Cream cookies are new and they smelt delicious in the oven 😋

I’ve made more Salted Caramel Cheesecake cookies and there’s a new Carrot Cake with a white chocolate buttercream icing.

Come try them; we can celebrate autumn through cake!

I’ve bought a piping bag. 😂😂😂

I had a faffy one before - reusable - but it was so faffy, I never used it.

I’ve now got disposable. Happy days. 🤩👌

I’ve used it on the raspberry cookies, what do you think? Better, worse or no bothered? 😂🙌
