Spacious, two-roomed pub just off the main road through Longton town centre, comprising a large bar area and meeting room. The landlord won second place in the 2009 and 2010 and first place in the 2011 local CAMRA Pub of the Year competition. A beer festival is held every May, when the regular range is supplemented by two bars, both serving beer from the barrel. The pub also hosts various events and societies. It's like Doctor Who's TARDIS... BIGGER ON THE INSIDE! A proper traditional pub, with a warm and friendly atmosphere– a pleasure to drink in.
