Temporary Closure ❤️

We’re sorry, but the tearoom will be closed for the next 3 days, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday as we take some time to remember Joanne on her birthday (Wednesday 26th August)

It’s a difficult and emotional time, and we hope you’ll understand that we need a few days with family and loved ones to remember, reflect and celebrate Joanne’s life.

Thank you, as always, for your kindness, understanding and continued support.

We’ll look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen as usual on Friday 28th August

Funeral Notice for Joanne Bradbury
It is with great sadness that we announce the funeral of our beloved daughter and sister, Joanne Bradbury.
The funeral service will take place on
Monday 10th August at 1.30pm at:
Forest of Dean Crematorium and Memorial Gardens
Yew Tree Brake, Speech House Road
Cinderford, Gloucestershire, GL14 3HU
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend as we come together to celebrate Joanne's life and say our final goodbye.
Following the service, all are welcome to join the family to share memories and celebrate Joannes life. Further deatils will be provided on the day.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's memory would be greatly appreciated to Kidney Care UK a charity that was close to her heart.

This has been a very difficult post to write, so has taken a while. It is with profound sadness that I share the hearbreaking news that my sister and business partner, Joanne, passed away on Sunday 5th July.
Joanne was the heart of our tearoom. She welcomed everyone with kindness, warmth and a smile. We built our tearoom together with love, hard work and a shared dream, and I know many of you came to know and care for her over the years.
As her sister, my heart is broken. As her business partner, I can't begin to express how much she will be missed. The love and support we've already received from our wonderful customers, friends and community has been an incredible comfort, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Our wonderful team has kept things going of the last few weeks whilst I spent time with Joanne. There may be some reduced hours over the next few weeks whilst we take time to grieve, make necesary arrangements and navigate through some challenging times. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support.
Joanne's kindness, generosity, bravery and beautiful spirit will always be part of our tearoom and our lives. She will never be forgotten.
Joanne's funeral will take place on Monday 10th August and I will post further details here once they are confirmed.

Due to family illness the tearoom will be closed on Tuesday 30th June. We will hopefully reopen on Wednesday 1st July but please check before making a special journey. The menu and opening times may continue to be limited for the rest of this week. Messages voicemails and emails will continue to be checked regularly.

The tearoom is open today until 3pm. We then close for our annual Christmas break until January 14th 2026.
