We are now fully booked inside for Father’s Day Sunday lunch, thank you for all your bookings 💙

But don’t worry if you haven’t got a table…

With the sunshine set to continue, we’ll be firing up the pizza oven from 12pm until 7pm

So grab a seat in the beer garden, enjoy a cold drink in the sun, and tuck into a freshly cooked pizza from the Pizza Hut.

We don’t take bookings for the garden, just come along grab a table and enjoy Father’s Day with us in the sunshine 🍻☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today. We’re sorry to anyone who missed out, but we completely sold out!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you for your patience and understanding throughout what has been an incredibly busy day. Seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new customers through our doors has been an absolute pleasure.

Days like today remind us why we love what we do. Thank you for your continued support of The Derry. We truly appreciate every single one of you.

🎅🎄 Santa is Coming… and so is the spirit of giving! 🎄🎅

This year, we’re starting our Children’s Christmas Donation Appeal a little earlier, giving us more time to make a difference for local families who may need a helping hand this Christmas.

From today, we’ll be accepting donations of:

🎁 New toys
👕 New clothing
🧸 Gifts for all ages
💤 New pyjamas
📚 Books, games and activity sets
🎄 Any other brand-new items suitable for children

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help bring a smile to a child on Christmas morning.

Over the last few years, the kindness and generosity of our amazing community has been truly incredible. Together, let’s make this Christmas a little brighter for as many children as possible. ❤️

Donations can be dropped off at The Derry from now until our collection deadline closer to Christmas.

Please help us spread the word by liking, sharing and tagging anyone who may wish to get involved.

For years pubs, restaurants and hospitality businesses have been told that reducing VAT simply isn’t possible… yet closures continue, costs keep rising and communities are losing vital social spaces.

Now celebrity chef and pub operator Tom Kerridge is spearheading the new “VAT’s The Problem” campaign, calling for a fairer VAT rate for hospitality to help protect jobs, pubs, restaurants and the wider industry.

The UK currently has one of the highest rates of VAT on hospitality in Europe, while many other countries recognise hospitality as a vital industry worth supporting with lower rates. Here, pubs and restaurants are expected to absorb soaring costs while still charging customers more just to stand still.

This is one issue the entire hospitality sector is united on.

If you value your local pub, café or restaurant, please take 30 seconds to sign the petition and help spread the word. The more support this campaign gets, the harder it becomes to ignore.
