📍 hosted us alongside for an essential conversation on the future of food.
is helping define a new era of hospitality, one rooted in wellbeing, sustainability and regeneration.
We were honoured to partner with them for a discussion that asked a bigger question than “how do we feed people?”
How do we build food systems that can sustain communities without depending on extractive, industrial supply chains?
Food security is often framed as access to enough food. But food sovereignty goes further, it is the right of people and communities to shape their own food systems deciding what they grow, eat, share and value.
It means knowing where food comes from.
It means investing in soil, biodiversity, local growers and traditional knowledge.
It means moving from dependence to participation.
Global supply chains can be efficient, but they are also fragile.
Resilience is built closer to home. In regional networks, seasonal food, community ownership and relationships between growers, cooks and eaters.
