New Product Landing! We are proud to introduce the addition of nut butters to our range. Available in 1kg and 4 x 340g Jars. What better product to offer than something to accompany your morning coffee! All their nut butters are made here in the UK. In the spotlight are the Peanut butters, undeniably the most popular one. Made with Hi-Oleic nuts (high in mono unsaturated fats, think Avocado or Olive oil) and all free from Palm Oil. For more information check them out on our website under our new Nut Butter category!

One of our favourite things to have on our toast in the morning, it certainly compliments the flavour of our coffees and you may be surprised as to how complex the flavour of nut butters can be, but you will jut have to try it for yourself!

When not drinking Espresso we love having a Chemex. A simple yet stylish piece of brewing equipment. Invented in 1941 by Peter Schlumbohm who based the design on the conical flask. It produces a wonderfully clean cup. We recommend brewing any of our washed coffees with the Chemex.

πŸƒ Origin Photo πŸƒ In the spotlight today is Gatare 656 in Rwanda. πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ό. Located in the Nyamasheke district of the Western province the station is surrounded by hills covered by coffee trees.
Rwanda is blessed with ideal coffee growing conditions that include high altitude, regular rainfall, volcanic soils with good organic structure. The vast majority of Rwandan coffee is produced by smallholders of which there are thought to be around half a million, with parcels of land often not much larger than just one hectare per family. Coffee is grown in most parts of the country, with particularly large concentrations along Lake Kivu and in the southern province. Rwandan smallholders organise themselves into cooperatives and share the services of centralised wet-mills – or washing stations as they are known locally. Gatare is one the oldest washing stations in the country, dating back to 2003. It has a long reputation having been among the first stations to process very high quality coffee for export. It has also competed in the Cup Of Excellence competition many times, and always ended in the high winning lots.

πŸƒOrigin Photo πŸƒ In the spotlight today is Fazenda Vale Do Sol in Brazil. πŸ‡§πŸ‡· Located in the Eloi Mendes valley this 75-hectare farm has been run by the Garcia Family since 2008. The family has a history of three generations of coffee producers whose expertise in agricultural engineering is implemented to create the best growing environment for their coffee trees.

The fertiliser which they use is a combination of organic manure, calcarium, natural skin of coffee, nitrogen and potassium from the rocks they use on the farm. The soils here are fertile with an average pH of 6.0.
