On the Thai New Year (Songkran), an ancient tradition is called “Bathing the Buddha“
During Songkran, you will see people pouring scented water over Buddha statues. This ritual is called “Song Nam Phra” (สรงน้ำพระ). It is a sacred way to show respect, “cleanse” the spirit for the New Year, and bring good luck.
We will honour it by displaying our Buddha for the “Bathing the Buddha” ritual from Sunday to Tuesday. You are very welcome to take part, and our team will be happy to guide you through the steps.
