Dartbrooke Coffee’s process begins with the harvesting of cherries to ensure the quality of the coffee being produced is of the highest quality. Our three methods of picking are:

- Handpicking: by either a team or the farmers themselves
- Strip picking: the picker will strip the entire branch rather than selecting the individual fruit
- Machine picking: the branch is swallowed by the machine in order to absorb all of the cherries

All about the espresso! The brew method you use will impact the way your coffee tastes. For the perfect espresso:

- Grind Setting: Fine
- Time: 25-30 seconds
- Brewing ratio: 1:2 (1g dry coffee for every 2g brewed coffee produced).

The key is to weigh everything to make sure you're on track at every step in the process and really perfect those tamp skills!
