👋 Farewell….
As many of you may already know Leo and myself are marking the end of an era and passing the baton to someone new at Winchmore Hill.
After almost 250,000 fry ups we have decided to let someone take Winchmore Hill to new heights while we focus on Hadley Wood and potentially other locations over the coming years.
We have had 6 incredible years serving the local community, making friends, seeing some of your faces almost every day of those 6 years. We came into this business knowing absolutely F&!k all about cafes apart from how to order a full English, winged it completely with a vision of making something special, great food, priced well, friendly service and communal vibes, and of course for those of you who have been a part of our journey you know that we always have tried our best to get that right day in day out.
We want to thank each and every one of our customers at Winchmore Hill because you’ve made the journey so memorable, without each of you we wouldn’t be where we are today. It’s been a pleasure to get to know many of you and we hope to see you at some point at Hadley wood.
It goes without saying Leo has been the front man of Winchmore the whole way through the 6 years and I know he will be dearly missed by all of you, of course he will be here with me at Hadley wood from time to time.
We will be handing the baton over to the new owners in the next week , pop in for a farewell cuppa and fry up with Leo as he would love to see as many of you as possible before the move.
Of course he will be there to introduce you all to the new owners of limes Winchmore Hill and we hope that the limes Winchmore stays as an institution for fry ups for another 90 years to come! 🍳
Cheers everyone and see you soon
Leo & Anthony x
