A very difficult goodbye ❤️
It’s with incredibly heavy hearts that we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to close The Cosy Stove Coffee House.
This has been one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. Over the past year, The Cosy Stove has become so much more than just a coffee house—it has become a place filled with laughter, friendships, familiar faces, and memories that we will treasure forever.
When we first opened our doors, we could never have imagined the love and support we would receive. Every coffee served, every conversation shared, and every smiling face that walked through our doors has meant more to us than you'll ever know. You welcomed us into your daily lives, celebrated milestones with us, and supported us through every step of this journey. For that, we will be forever grateful.
As many of you know, we also run Skinny Guys Pizza and Massarella's, and both businesses have continued to grow and demand more of our time and attention. Alongside that, we've realised just how quickly our young daughter and son are growing up. Time is something we can never get back, and right now, our family needs us just as much as our businesses do. As difficult as it is to say goodbye to The Cosy Stove, we know in our hearts it's the right decision for this chapter of our lives.
Although the coffee house is closing, this isn't goodbye to our food. We're pleased to say that our much-loved Cosy Table Buffets will continue, so you'll still be able to enjoy our delicious homemade food for your special occasions—just not every day. We're so grateful that we'll still be able to be a small part of your celebrations, and we hope you'll continue to support us through Skinny Guys Pizza, Massarella's, and our buffet catering.
To our incredible team—thank you. Your hard work, kindness, loyalty, and passion have helped create something truly special. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to share this journey with.
And to every single customer who chose to support a small local business, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Whether you visited us once or became one of our regulars, you have been part of our story, and we will never forget you.
Our official last day of trading will be Sunday 2nd August. We would love the opportunity to see as many of you as possible before we close our doors one final time, so we can say thank you in person and celebrate everything we've shared together.
This isn't the ending we ever imagined, but we'll always look back with immense pride and gratitude for what we've built together.
