We have been looking at the nutrition research on cognitive health and the same themes keep coming up. 🧠

Your brain is roughly 60% fat. It needs omega-3 to maintain its structure, antioxidants to protect against oxidative stress, B vitamins to synthesise neurotransmitters, and a healthy gut to produce serotonin.

Get your plant-based omega-3 from walnut and chia seed oil 🌿, polyphenols from aronia and black seed oil. Prebiotic fibre from Jerusalem artichoke and tigernut for the gut-brain axis. B vitamins from leafy greens. We love our Organic Moringa Powder and Greens Blend 💚

None of this is complicated. It is mostly just a case of knowing where to look.

Save this if you found it useful, and let us know in the comments. What do you do to support your focus and mental clarity? 👇🏻

Summer is leaving. We’re not ready either. 🌸

Six days until September, and we’re coping the only way we know how. A scoop of plant-based lavender ice cream, eaten slowly, in denial. 🍦

Lavender has been used for centuries to promote calm and ease everyday stress. Fitting, really, given the circumstances. 🌿

Make it this weekend while the sun still shows up (hopefully). ☀️

Save this post. You’ll want it next July too.

Your body makes collagen. It has been doing it your whole life. What it needs from you are the right raw materials.

Collagen synthesis depends on a specific set of nutrients, all of which are available through food.

🍊 Vitamin C. Essential for collagen formation. Found in sea buckthorn, camu camu, amla, and acerola cherry. Without it, the process stalls.

🌱 Glycine and proline. The amino acids that form collagen’s structure. Found in legumes, seeds, buckwheat, and mushrooms.

🍫 Copper. Required for collagen cross-linking and stability. Found in cashews, shiitake, and sunflower seeds.

🎃 Zinc Supports tissue repair and collagen regulation. Found in pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, and oats.
No collagen supplement needed. Just food that works.
Save this post and build your collagen plate from the bottom up.

Your skin is a reflection of what happens beneath the surface. Chaga starts there.

Harvested from birch forests in Northern Europe, our Organic Chaga Powder brings centuries of traditional use into your daily ritual. And when it comes to skin, the research is compelling.

🍄 Rich in antioxidants. Chaga has one of the highest polyphenol concentrations of any food studied, neutralising the free radicals responsible for premature ageing and uneven tone.

🌿 Naturally anti-inflammatory. Studies show chaga inhibits key pro-inflammatory markers. Chronic inflammation is one of skin’s most persistent enemies.

☀️ Melanin-rich. Chaga contains natural melanin, which research suggests helps protect skin cells from oxidative damage caused by UV exposure.

Chaga has been brewed as a tea across Northern Europe for centuries. Here is why your skin will thank you for the habit.

Chaga contains one of the highest concentrations of superoxide dismutase (SOD) found in any natural source, an enzyme that neutralises free radicals and plays a direct role in slowing oxidative damage to skin cells. It is also rich in betulinic acid, melanin complex and a broad spectrum of antioxidants that support skin cell integrity and a healthy inflammatory response.

How to brew it. Add half to one teaspoon of Chaga powder to hot water and simmer for 20 minutes. Drink on its own or blend with herbal tea, coffee, black tea or cacao. Brew a bigger batch and store in the fridge for a few days. 🍄🌿
