LOQUAT, SF. The last event on our West Coast Book Tour and what a vibe! Thank you team LOQUAT Tal, Jodi & all the guys for such a gorgeous evening, and of course to Omnivore Books on Food for being the best cookbook shop. They prepared a load of dishes from our book, Honey & Co. Daily, and we had such a fun time with everyone who came down. Thank you for hosting us and making it so special. We love San Francisco!!

What was on the menu? Well… what wasn’t?
Greek-inspired beetroot & yogurt salad
Cucumber, melon & prawn salad
Aubergine, preserved lemon & tomato pitta
Preserved lemon & tahini cookies
Walnut, oat & miso cookies

Portland! What a place to spend a weekend! Thank you to the wonderful team at Vivienne Culinary Books for hosting our book talk on Friday night, to Roxy Glad for chairing the conversation and Julie & Robyn for organising, and of course to all those who came and took signed books away!

A few highlights from our weekend…

- we headed straight from the train to Nong’s Khao Man G*i amazing chicken and rice recommended by Samin Nosrat
- of course we had to find a market. Portland farmers market in university city was great
- we had excellent steamed Taiwanese buns, polish pierogi and huge blackberries with chocolate brownie
- the Japanese gardens were beautiful and very zen
- roof top tacos & churros to finish our trip!

Our last night in Seattle! Such a gorgeous evening Stroum JCC SJCC Arts + Ideas in conversation with our dear friend Renee Erickson. Thank you to Renee who came out of surgery recovery to host us so wonderfully, to all those who joined us, and of course to the organizers, huge thanks to Pamela. We’ve had the best time in Seattle and we can’t wait to come back.

Next stop is Portland, where we’ll see you tonight Vivienne Culinary Books!

BOOK LARDER! Back to our favourite Seattle Cookbook Store! Thanks to Vivian and the team Book Larder for a gorgeous evening celebrating our new book, Honey & Co. Daily. We gave a talk and demo and signed lots of books. We loved meeting everyone, including the Seattle family of our dearest Bridget Fojcik who came out to support us ❤️❤️

More highlights include bagels from Old Salt Fish & Bagels , checking out the city views at Gas Works Park, Autumn colours, and a delicious breakfast The Wayland Mill with , where it turns out Bridget’s niece works. What a small world. We ❤️ Seattle.

Seattle! On Sunday we headed to Pike Place Market to pick up produce for a special demo and dinner event with Stroum JCC SJCC Arts + Ideas. We picked up the most amazing Alaskan halibut and spices. Then on over to a beautiful home on Mercer Island overlooking Lake Washington, for an evening of Honey &Co. Daily! W we gave a talk and demo of our chrieme fish recipe and chocolate mousse with olive oil, followed by a gorgeous dinner cooked from our new book Honey & Co. Daily by the wonderful Debs Deb Brownstein.

Thank you to host Karyn for letting us play in your kitchen, Pamela and Marla Stroum JCC for organising and Debs for all the cooking, and all those who joined us on Sunday afternoon!

A birthday in LA! We celebrated Itamar’s birthday (wish him a happy birthday) with a weekend of eating, sightseeing and ballet in LA. The highlights…

- So exciting to find our book Honey & Co. Daily in a store in Venice Beach
- A birthday breakfast at Friends & Family, a place we have wanted to visit forever Roxana Jullapat
- A stroll along Venice Beach to lunch RVR such a cool izakaya spot
- we walked all the way along the beach to Santa Monica with gorgeous sky to Los Angeles Ballet
- checking out of our home CARA
- another birthday brunch, this time Max & Helen’s with Julie Wolfson, so happy we made it!

NOW SERVING! Thanks to Ken & Michelle NOW SERVING for having us back for a book talk with our new book Honey & Co Daily last night, and so great to meet our host Evan Kleiman. Then we had dinner Lasita with Lindsay and Rishi. Delicious. It was the perfect end to a day that began with brunch Mish, a delicatessen with Burt Bakman yum, and then a trip to Los Angeles County Museum of Art via EREWHON.

Our next stop is Seattle with book tour events at Book Larder Mio Oh Mio and Stroum JCC SJCC Arts + Ideas. Find them in bio for all our events See you there!

Day 2 of our West Coast Adventure was for exploring! But tonight we’re back on Book Tour, come see us for a book talk NOW SERVING at 7pm!

-The most outrageous breakfast Sweet Maple Santa Monica
- Visiting the market in Santa Monica & Venice Beach
- where we saw the Yoko Ono exhibition and some amazing modern art
- the first of many celebrations for Itamar’s birthday on Saturday was dinner at Bavel Restaurant and seeing a jazz concert in celebration of Coltrane’s 100th bday at the Hollywood Bowl.

LA! We made it! Day 1 of our West Coast Book Tour and we had a wonderful day cooking and eating LULU. Thank you to the wonderful team for such a warm welcome. Chef Giles, Jesse, Deidre on pastry, Jaemie, Alice Waters Chez Panisse David Tanis. What a special place. We served a menu from our book, Honey & Co Daily, in this gorgeous space:

❤️Shrimp, melon, cucumber salad with chilli-lime dressing
❤️Eggplant with green tahini crust & pilaf salad
❤️Pappardelle with lamb ragu
❤️Tahini & preserved lemon cookies with chocolate & olive oil mousse
