Saturday in New York City! We started and ended our day with such a spectacular view of the city. So fabulous meeting our friends Leonard & Patty Leonard Aberman in real life up on the roof to chat all about our latest book, Honey & Co Daily.

Next we stopped by Wild Sorrel Cookbooks where we had THE warmest welcome to NYC from Troy and a gorgeous cake From Lucie and got to chat to Jenna Helwig deb perelman. Thank you for coming by! This cookbook store is just weeks old and already an institution, such a special place and feels like home, go check it out it.

Then we headed to Seed + Mill | Tahini and Halva Chelsea Market for a Honey & Co. Daily Store Street tahini soft serve takeover with our lemon & coconut bars. So delicious and wonderful to see Leah Koenig and fam irl. Thank you Rachel for bringing us all together.

No room to cover breakfast lunch and dinner here, so will have to share that separately. We ATE.

Milk Street! We had the best time at Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street cookery school in BostonC giving a class on all things Honey & Co. Daily. We gave a demo of recipes from the book and cooked together in a hands on class. After we cooked up this feast, of course we sat down and ate together with our new friends. We are family now. On the menu:

❤️ Avocado, Cucumber and Radish Toast with Dukkah
❤️ Chicken, Cashew and Mango Salad
❤️ Grape and Bean Salad with Fried Manouri Cheese
❤️ Summer Dirty Rice
❤️ Chocolate Mousse with Olive Oil

It was such a pleasure and a huge thank you to all who joined us. Please seek out Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street for their in-person and online classes, radio, magazine, culinary trips and more, they are the real deal. Massive shout out to April Dodd for running such a fantastic class program.

Chicago! Our first stop on our US book tour for Honey & Co. Daily.

Huge thanks to Tonya Francisco and Amy Rutledge for having us on Daytime Chicago TV to cook our grape & bean salad with manouri. And to Meg de la Crème for food styling and taking our pics. Should we get our own show?

So lovely to meet Micah Siva, Modern Jewish Food who hosted us City Lit Books and introduced us to Lula Cafe. Thank you!

We loved the Windy City, we ate and saw some amazing things, we managed to squeeze in an architectural boat tour of Chicago, visited the Art Institute of Chicago and the Anish Kapoor cloud gate, not to be missed.

Next stop, Boston.

Free therapy! Such a wonderful conversation chaired by Susie Orbach on the first day of British Library Food Season. In The Heat Together, we joined Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala and the The Flygerians🦅 Halal/ VG/ V sisters on the couch and put the world to rights. What a pleasure.

Congrats to Polly Russell Angela Clutton Melissa Thompson .allen.food for a spectacular start to the food season! Go check out the program for more events coming up British Library.

Fabulous to see The Kitchen Table on books this year and looking forward to visiting with our book later this month! And to give our Patricia Niven a squeeze after her super photography talk.

Before we set the fire alarm off…

Thank you for a glorious Edinburgh evening in celebration of our new cookbook, Honey & Co Daily. We came, we cooked, we set the fire alarm off… again! Not quite sure how we managed to repeat this and sorry to all the bookshop browsers who had to evacuate. Until next time, Scotland!

Monday roundup!

So the last week has been all about worshipping the apricots & elderflower - perfect combination for jam (1-3)

We took a lot of trains this week, equipped with the best reading material. Highly recommend The Coward by Jarred McGinnis and Cheri by Colette (4-5)
