Did you know there has been a pub on this corner since 1666? 🍻

This incredible photograph shows The George in the late 1800’s, before the building we know today was rebuilt in the 1920s.

Over its 360 year history, the pub has changed names a couple of times, from The Great Tree to The Rat & Parrot, but it has always found its way back to its original name, The George.

Imagine the stories this corner could tell. From horse drawn carts making their way up Haverstock Hill to serving the local community more than three centuries later.

We are incredibly proud to be the custodians of one of Hampstead’s oldest pub sites.

What. A. Summer. ⚽🍻

Thank you to everyone who packed out The George and made every match one to remember. The atmosphere has been incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd.

We’re not quite finished yet! Join us one last time this weekend as England take on France in the 3rd Place Play-Off on Saturday, before Spain and Argentina battle it out in Sunday’s Final. 🏆

Then it’s not long until the return of Premier League and EFL football, and we can’t wait to do it all again.

We’ll save you a seat.
