Kebbeh Labniyeh… which words to describe this wonderful & authentic dish? Lamb and cracked wheat shell dumplings stuffed with minced lamb & onions, cooked in minted yoghurt, sprinkled with crushed garlic, coriander, pine kernels & olive oil and served with vermicelli rice! My all time favourite 😻

Good day London!!! Today is the perfect day to dry my home made kishk. A superfood very well known in Lebanon, Syria and throughout the Levant. Kishk is made of Bulghur (cracked wheat), home made strained yoghurt, and left to ferment for 3 weeks, then dried in the sun and rubbed into a very fine powder and sieved. We cook this powdered kishk with garlic and lamb awarma or just on its own…. By far my favourite “village” food in Lebanon 🇱🇧😍😍😍
