While our café is temporarily closed, we wanted to share a little piece of home with you.

Many of you have told us how much you missed our beloved Ukrainian teas, and we are delighted to let you know that they will be available at a wonderful charity event dedicated to supporting a meaningful cause.

This gathering is about more than tea — it is about community, kindness, and coming together to make a difference. We would be truly grateful to see our cherished customers there, to share a cup of tea, a warm conversation, and your support for something that matters.

Your encouragement and loyalty have always meant the world to us, and we look forward to reconnecting with you in this special way while our café doors remain temporarily closed.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers who stayed with us, supported us, and showed kindness even during the difficult time of the pool closure. It truly meant more than words can express. We did everything we could to keep going, holding on with determination and hope.

The pool café will close from Tuesday 7 April until further notice.

The closure will allow us to prepare for the removal of sealed asbestos from the ceiling, which we announced in January.

The work is connected to the planned programme of repair works to the pool hall, which will take place in the coming months.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. We will provide further updates as work progresses.

⚡️Scheduled Power Outage⚡️

Tuesday 27th January 2026 - 09:00 to 13:30.

Northern PowerGrid have identified an issue with the local electricity network and need to carry out permanent repair. This will require the power to both buildings to be switched off from 09:00 to 13:30.

During this time, the gym, pool and café will be closed. Reception will also be unable to process transactions or bookings.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while this essential work is completed.
