The Haggerston has reopened!

All eyes on England. We once again take to the international stage.

Murmurs of doubt and hope become deafening as our boys ready themselves for kick-off.

Atlanta has a strong history of sporting events like the Summer Olympics of 1996, so it makes a worthy arena for the likes of Kane, Saka, and Bellingham to cement their names in the annals of British football.

It’s the Round of 32, which means knockouts, baby! You love it! We love it!

We open at 4pm, kick-off is at 5pm. £5 pints, £10 sarnies. Let’s see some magic!

Here we are. England vs Ghana tonight in the pub (and across the Atlantic Ocean.) Just like the metereological manifestation that occurred when Paul Weller, collaborator Mick Talbot and the band released this banger into the world, the UK had its hottest summer on record, we are telling you all now tonight there will be a Harry Kane goal and another from big Jude to top it off. Then after that obviously we are going to win the whole tournament. You heard it here first.

We love this tune. We love the England football team. We love our Ghanaian brothers and sisters. All welcome.

The World Cup is upon us and at The Haggerston, even as a self-proclaimed music pub, we love the beautiful game.

Every England game will be on full volume, full energy, pints full to the brim, full on three lions on a shirt, until we lift the trophy and beyond into the night. No matter what time.

All other games we will have on the screen and crank up the commentary if asked to, but when the DJs start, music is the priority!

To celebrate our inevitable glory; for England games we’ll be doing fiver pints of lager, yes £5, and will be doing sarnies for a tenner. Yes £10. Surely there’s nothing better than that.
