We are coffee roasters and hospitality experts. As a coffee company we get to build friendships with a huge variety of interesting & talented people who are embarking on new adventures every day. From coffee lovers through to coffee farmers, we get to connect these people & it is such a humbling & inspiring privilege. Since starting out in 1998, we have invested in our product, people & community.

Back then we were just three passionate people roasting out of a small shop in a provincial New Zealand surf town. Today, the only real difference is we have a lot more friends around the globe to learn things from & to share ideas with.

Every so often a coffee turns up on the cupping table that just completely stops the room. THIS was one of those.

From Ali Kabeer a producer in Wadi Al-Sail, Yemen, this brew is a super clean, sweet cup that appeals to all the senses.

Coffee from a single producer is very rare to find in Yemen, so that, paired with the quality on the table made it a no brainer for us.

Want to be one of the first to try it for yourself ? Pre-orders are open now.

We’re roasting this beauty on Thursday 10th September and sending it out shortly after, so you’ll get it fresh from the drum.

Given how small this lot is, we wouldn’t wait around. 😉

We’ve teamed up with noissue to create a completely recyclable cup, so your brew doesn’t cost the earth.

Once you’ve finished your coffee, just pop your cup in the right recycling bin. It’s a small thing, but it means it can actually make its way back into the recycling system.

Infused with confit garlic oil and chilli flakes, sitting atop a chive cream cheese (think sour cream and chive dip) and topped with simple pickled shallots and our house made stem pesto.
