Come join us at Butler's Retreat on Wednesday night for a great view of the eclipse* over Chingford plain, we're staying open until 7pm when it's peaking. We'll be serving Pimms Sundowners alongside our regular b**r, w**e and fizz offering, with savoury snacks, hot drinks and cakes on offer too.

*Actual eclipse may vary, we cannot control clouds etc, and bring appropriate eyewear...

Butlers' Retreat open as normal, car park opposite also open as normal, but Ranger's Road closed between Butler's and Connaught Water until 12th May. Connaught Water car park accessible as normal, short walk up the path to Butler's, or for people travelling from Loughton or Buckhurst Hill area, just take the slight detour onto Whitehall Road - see you soon!
