We’re starting things off rather nicely with a bright and tangy chickpea chaat, alongside crisp carrot and onion bhajis and golden aloo samosas, just enough to wake up the palate and get things moving.

For mains, it’s a proper spread. A rich and deeply satisfying chicken karhai masala leads the way, followed by cooling aubergine dahi borani, a fragrant veggie biryani, and a comforting daal that does exactly what it should.
