Yesterday a few of the team headed out from Brighton Marina aboard the Kestrel Warrior 13.

There may not have been many mackerel caught, and Margherita definitely left her sea legs back on shore, but she still managed to snap some brilliant photos of a great day out at sea.

Last week we had a fabulous meal to celebrate Rosie.

Rosie joined Bocca in 2010 as a host and over the next fifteen years, became the eyes and ears of the restaurant, and a huge part of what makes Bocca, Bocca.

As Head of Reservations and Events, she was the first voice on the phone and often the first smile through the door. She had that rare gift of making people feel expected, welcomed and entirely at home.

We’ll miss her enormously. Thank you for everything, Rosie. Much love always from all of us at Bocca x

Our summer private dining menus are now live.

This menu takes you to Tuscany - fegatini chopped chicken livers on bruschetta, Pecorino Toscano, prosciutto and finocchiona. Then pici all’aglione with elephant garlic and tomato, followed by a traditional Livornese fish stew, and tiramisù for dessert.

It’s one of eight menus available in our private dining room, alongside other regional lunch menus, and our classic Baroque lamb and seafood feasts for larger gatherings. We’ve also selected wine pairings for each one too.

Incredible fish and seafood from down in Devon. With sustainability and seasonality at the core of everything they do, they work closely with local fishermen to supply us with the only very best quality.

Particularly good on the grill - we’ve got Turbot and Brill served with peppers, tomato & capers, as well one of our favourites John Dory - finished with gremolata.

They also supply our live langoustines, on today with lemon & thyme butter.
